FIR registered against two persons for abusing and molesting woman
PUNE : Policenama online – Pune Crime News | An FIR has been registered against two persons at the Viman Nagar police station for forcibly entering a woman’s house, abusing her and molesting her. The incident took place on Sunday at Pathare Vasti in Lohegaon area. (Pune Crime News)
The accused have been identified as Mayur Sonapant Patil (32) and Arbaz Daulat Tamboli (19). A 38-year-woman has lodged a complaint at the Viman Nagar police station. Accordingly, an FIR has been registered against the accused under sections 452, 354, 509, 323, 504, 606, 327 and 34 of the IPC. On Sunday, when the complainant was alone, the accused forcibly tried to enter their house. They abused the woman and assaulted her over the loan of ₹1.5 crore taken by one of her relatives.
They vandalised the house and damaged the household goods. One of them twisted one of her hands and tore her gown and abused her. After the police received a complaint, the police registered and FIR against Mayur Sonapant Patil and Arbaz Daulat Tamboli. PSI Salvi is probing the case.
