FIR Against ‘Hindi Medium’ Actress Saba Qamar, Accused of Violating Sanctity Of the Mosque
Mumbai : Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, who worked in the Hindi medium film with legend actor Irrfan Khan, is in controversy. Lahore Police has filed an FIR against Saba Qamar and Singer Bilal Saeed. Actually, Saba and Bilal shot a music video inside Lahore’s Wazir Khan Mosque. A short clip of this music video is going viral on social media. In this clip, the scene of Nikah has been shown, which has led to very strong reactions from the religious and political corridors of Pakistan.
Many users on social media say that Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed should have a case of blasphemy because they have disrespected the sanctity of Wazir Khan Mosque. According to Pakistan’s media reports, this complaint was filed by Advocate Sardar Farhat Manzoor Khan on August 13 under section 295 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). Apart from Saba, this case has been registered against Bilal and this music video.
Saba Qamar has also given her opinion on this matter. She wrote on Twitter- ‘The video which is going viral on social media was only a circular movement so that we can take pictures for the poster of this music video. In this video, a married married couple is shown just after their marriage. Despite this, if we have hurt anyone’s feelings despite not wanting, then we sincerely apologize. Love and peace to all.’
Presenting the "Qubool" teaser
This is also the only sequence that was shot at the historical Wazir Khan Mosque. It’s a prologue to the music video featuring a Nikah scene. It was neither shot with any sort of playback music nor has it been edited to the music track.#SabaQamar pic.twitter.com/iYRswlLWLd

The BTS video that's been circulated on social media was just a circular movement to click stills for the poster of ‘Qabool’ depicting a happily married couple right after their Nikah. #SabaQamar
