Finally! End of Rajasthan’s Political Drama, Ashok Gehlot Govt. Wins Vote Of Confidence

Jaipur: In Rajasthan, the political crisis that has arisen due to the rebellion of veteran Congress leader Sachin Pilot and his camp MLAs. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has proved a majority in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly on Friday. However, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) issued a whip to its former MLAs to vote against the state government during the floor test.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has already instructed the rebel leaders of the party to move forward by forgetting the political tussle and turmoil for about a month. In fact, many MLAs of the Gehlot camp are not happy with the return of Sachin Pilot and 18 MLAs of his camp and have expressed displeasure at the meeting of the legislature party in Jaisalmer on Tuesday night. Meanwhile, the suspension of former Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh and MLA Bhanwarlal Sharma, who showed rebellious attitude against the Gehlot government, has been withdrawn.

It is noteworthy that the Congress blames the BJP for the conspiracy to topple the Gehlot government of the state. The Congress alleges that the BJP is trying to topple the Gehlot government by luring some of its MLAs. It may be known that the pro-Gehlot MLAs stayed in a hotel in Jaipur from July 13, who were shifted to a hotel in Jaisalmer on July 31. While Sachin Pilot and 18 other Congress MLAs from his group were staying outside the state. However, after meeting Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi in New Delhi on Monday, all the leaders including Pilot, who were angry with the leadership of Chief Minister Gehlot, decided to return to the party.
