Mumbai: The Film Gully Boy won 13 awards at the Filmfare Awards 2020. In this race, many celebs missed out on getting the best category award, which fans feel they were deserving. Fans have expressed their displeasure at Filmfare for awarding the best category award to Gully Boy. He has demanded to boycott Filmfare by sharing memes on Twitter.

Due to not getting the award of Kesari film song Teri Mitti in the Best Lyrics category in Filmfare, lyricist Manoj Muntashir has decided to boycott the award show. He tweeted that he officially boycotts the award shows. Singer Neha Bhasin has supported him by tweeting.
