Eyewitness Air Hostess Shilpa Katare Recalls Kerala Plane Crash

New Delhi : After the plane crash in Kerala, efforts are now being made to find out what happened before the crash. Meanwhile, Shilpa Katare, the airhostess of the plane who was the victim of the accident, told what had happened at that time. Airhostess Shilpa Katare boarded the aircraft. Fortunately, her life was saved. Shilpa told a senior officer of Karipur Airport that as soon as the experienced captain Deepak Sathe realized that he had over-shooted the runway due to lack of visibility but he tried his best to control the aircraft till the end.

Shilpa Katare said that the brakes of the aircraft were jammed and the runway was more slippery due to rain and hence the aircraft was out of control. Despite this, Pilot Deepak Sathe tried to stop the aircraft and somehow saved the entire plane from falling into the valley, which saved the lives of most people.

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Puri himself also said in a tweet that the AI aircraft was carrying passengers and it slipped off the runway due to rain, after which it fell into a 35-foot deep valley and broke into two. 19 people have been killed in this incident so far.

The plane slid off the runway and fell straight into the valley. The tip of the aircraft directly hit the ground and broke. Thankfully, the plane did not explode or else a big accident could have happened. Most of those who died were those who were sitting in the front of the plane. This is the reason that both the pilots of the aircraft have also been killed.
