Donald Trump’s Gujarat Tour : Government will Spend More Than 100 Crores For Just 3 Hours

New Delhi :  npnews24 : US President Donald Trump is visiting India in the last week of this month. It is shocking to know about Indian government’s expenses on this high profile tour. He will visit Gujarat on February 24.

According to the report, on February 24, Donald Trump will travel to Ahmedabad for a three-hour tour. According to rough data, the state government is going to spend more than Rs 100 crore to welcome the trump. According to top sources, preparations for Trump’s tour are in full swing.

CM Vijay Rupani of Gujarat has clearly stated that the budget should not come in the way of hosting the trump. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) are constantly in the state for repairs of roads and beautification in the city. It is being said that it will cost more than 100 crores in total.

A budget of 60 crores has been allocated for the repair of 17 roads and the repair and beautification of 1.5 km road. This is the same 1.5 km road from where President Trump will go directly to Motera Stadium from airport. A budget of 6 crore has been allocated specifically for the beautification of this road. The Development Authority is spending a budget of 20 crores for roads.

Although the central government is spending for it, but a large part of it is also being spent by the state government. Overall, if we see spending on Trump’s tour, then it is going above 100 crores. All departments have been instructed to do all the logistic and administration work before time so that there is no delay of any kind.

The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has said that a total budget of 500 crores has been released to repair the city’s roads. These have specifically asked to focus on Motera Stadium, Airport and Sabarmati Ashram.
