‘Disgusting and classless’: Sonam slam Vivek

Npnews24 online: Vivek Oberoi found at the heat of storm when he tweeted a distasteful meme about Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s age-old affair back in 2002, and compared it with ongoing election.

Sonam was first who raised her voice on matter and slammed vivek in replied tweet. Sonam wrote, “Disgusting and Classless”.

Vivek had drawn a sly comparision between the poll result and Aishwarya Rai’s personal life. He brought up the fact that she had once dated Salman Khan (calling it opinion poll), but later dated him (exit poll) and finally settled down with Abhishek Bachchan (the end result).

For the unversed, the Salman-Aishwarya-Vivek triangle had made headlines back in the early 2000s. After dating for almost two years, Salman and Aishwarya had a bitter break-up leading to much discussion and speculation.

Aishwarya was then seen seeking solace in Vivek Oberoi and it was assumed that the two were dating. However, Aishwarya had never confirmed the rumours, though Vivek openly did.

Aishwarya ended her relationship with Vivek after his infamous press conference in 2003, where he said that Salman called him around 40 times and tried to kill him.

Aishwarya married Abhishek in 2007 and has a child named Aaradhya. Vivek Oberoi is married to Priyanka Alva Oberoi. On the work front, Vivek is awaiting the release of his PM Narendra Modi, which will hit the screens on May 24.
