Deccan Gymkhana and Chatuhshrungi traffic divisions make changes in traffic, parking arrangements

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Traffic Update News | Temporary orders have been issued regarding traffic diversions to avoid accidents, in which it is provided that approximately 250 to 300 meters of no-parking zone should be provided under the Deccan Traffic Department on both sides from Chaitrali Co-Op Housing Society to Kshitij Bungalow and on Pashan-Sus Bridge under the Chatuhshrungi Traffic Department for safe and smooth traffic. Under the Chatuhshrungi Traffic Division, the right turn is prohibited on the road from Pashan to Sus near Sus Bridge. Instead, commuters should use the following alternative route. Citizens living in the societies along the Pune-Bangalore highway should cross the Sus bridge and turn right at a distance of 200 meters and take the Nanavare subway to the desired destination. To go to Satara via Pashan along the Pune-Bangalore Highway, drivers should take a left turn from Sai Chowk Pashan and proceed via Sutarwadi-Pashan to the desired destination. To go to Hinjawadi, Sus and Mumbai, cross the Sus bridge and turn right at 200 meters and take the service road towards Mumbai and Soos to the desired destination.

 

If commuters have any suggestions in this regard, they should inform the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Control Branch, Bungalow No. 6, Near Yerwada Post Office, Pune-411006 by February 25. The final orders will be issued after considering the suggestions and objections of citizens. DCP (Traffic) Vijay Kumar Magar said that the orders will not apply to essential service vehicles such as fire brigade, police vehicles, ambulances, etc.
