Current politics discussion took for life

In a bizarre incident, a 41-year-old man was beaten by his friend over a discussion on the current political scenario which took for his life.

As the Indian political parties are eyeing up for 2019 elections and preparing their various agenda. Even the citizen cannot be left apart.

In Pune in Sadashiv Peth area, a 41-year-old man who was casually discussing on the current alliances of government and opposition prompted a youth to hit the complainant with electricity tube light.

The incident had come to light, after the complainant Sagar Suresh Hagawane (41), a resident of Sadashiv Peth near Hatti Ganapati lodged an First Information Report (FIR) against suspect Anand Bhagat a resident of Navi Peth and also against unknown person with Vishrambaug police station which falls under the jurisdiction of Pune city commissionerate.

The duo is on run and he has booked under the relevant sections of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC) comprises of assault, breach of peace and an act done by them with common intention.

According to police, both complainant and suspect’s are known to each other. On Sunday they gathered and discussing on inflations, fuel hike and how they managing their house chaos in this economic scenario. Later, complainant discusses various government scheme and initiative and later failures of such.”

He added, ” in the discussion, it seems it went to personal issues of politics which was not digested which prompted the suspect to abuse complainant and also hit him with tube light. complainant has sustained injuries on his head, hand and near eyes. He is undergoing treatment and out of danger.”

Police Sub-inspector Santosh Patil of Vishrambaug police station is the investigation officer who probing the case.
