Curfew in Ahmedabad from 9 pm on 20 November, only Milk & drug stores will be open

Ahmedabad : As the corona infection increased, the Gujarat government decided on Thursday that there will be a full curfew in Ahmedabad from 9 pm on 20th November to 6 am on 23 November. During this period, only milk and medicine shops will remain open. People have been advised not to leave the house without work, but the government is on the target of the Congress on its decision to open school-colleges. After Diwali and New Year festivals, corona infection has increased rapidly in Gujarat. People have been instructed not to stand in groups and not to leave the house without work.

Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajiv Gupta informed that the night curfew in Ahmedabad will be applicable from November 20 on the instructions of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. Dr. Gupta informed that 900 additional beds have been provided at the Special Covid-19 Hospital in Ahmedabad. Additional 300 medical and 300 medical students have been deployed in government hospitals. The government has also opened additional ambulance and investigation centers.

Education Minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasama came on target by repeating the announcement of opening of school colleges in the state from 23 November. Former Congress president Arjun Modhwadia said that on one hand the government is imposing curfew, on the other hand, it has taken the decision to open the schools and colleges. There are no big rooms in the schools, neither the sports ground nor adequate transport facilities, then why open school in times of epidemic. Youth Congress National Spokesperson Parthiv Raj Singh Kathwadia called the government’s decision as a Tughlaqi decree and asked whether the government is with school operators or with parents and children. Corona cases are increasing. Then why is the government hurrying to open school-colleges?
