Coronavirus Pune: Once a hotspot, Bhavani Peth ward records lowest single day count of 5 patients  

Pune: Once a hot spot of coronavirus infections in the city during the initial days of Covid-19 outbreak, the Bhavani Peth ward office of Pune Municipal Corporation has recorded its lowest single day count of patients so far. As per the statistics published by the PMC, only 5 fresh cases of Covid-19 were reported in Bhavani Peth ward on Tuesday (October 20).

The highest number of patients reported on any single day were 55 in Hadapsar-Mundhwa ward of Pune Municipal Corporation on Tuesday. Mayor Murlidhar Mohol tweeted about the latest figures of Covid-19 cases in the city. The total number of fresh Covid-19 cases reported in the city on Tuesday was just 328. There has been a sharp decline in the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the city in the past few days.
