Coronavirus : Lockdown in 76 Districts of the Country, Number of Victims Near 400

New Delhi : npnews24 : 22 states of the country have started efforts at their own level to fight the war against the corona virus. After the Janata curfew, the lockdown has been done in 76 districts of the country from Monday to prevent the corona from spreading. However, the number of victims of this virus in India has reached close to 400.

3 people died across the country on the day of Janata curfew. In this way, the death toll from Corona has reached 7. At the same time, the number of people infected with it has reached 391. Central and state governments have also started efforts to eliminate Corona.

Section 144 in Delhi
Lockdown has been imposed in many big cities and states including the capital Delhi and Mumbai. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Sunday that from 6 am on Monday, there will be a lockdown in Delhi which will continue till 31 March. During this time all the borders adjoining Delhi will be sealed. Section 144 has been imposed in Delhi.

Financial capital Mumbai is also not untouched by this. There has also been a lockdown from today. The local train has been banned. Also, the landing of international flights in Mumbai has been banned. Section 144 has been imposed in many cities of Maharashtra.

Lockdown in 16 districts in U.P.
Lockdown has been done in 16 districts of Uttar Pradesh, which is adjacent to Delhi and the most populous state of the country. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday has declared a lockdown in 16 districts for the next 3 days, taking strong steps to prevent the outbreak of Corona virus.

In the initial announcement of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, 15 districts were included, but later Pilibhit was also included. Apart from Pilibhit, lockdown was also imposed in the capital Lucknow, Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Agra, Moradabad, Varanasi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bareilly, Azamgarh, Kanpur, Meerut, Prayagraj, Aligarh, Gorakhpur and Saharanpur.

Lockdown till 31st in Bihar
In Bihar too, after the death of Corona on Sunday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has imposed a lockdown till March 31 in the entire state. In Rajasthan and Uttarakhand, lockdown has been declared till 31 March. All the boundaries of Rajasthan have been sealed. According to Health Minister Raghu Sharma, the people coming and going there are being treated harshly.

In Punjab, a lockdown has been imposed in 5 districts of the state (Jalandhar, Patiala, Nawanshahar, Hoshiarpur and Sangrur) and a lockdown will continue till March 31 when a corona case comes to light.

Indian Railways has also taken a big decision to stop the spread of Corona, that all passenger trains will be closed till 31 March. Apart from these, lockdown has also been done in Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Kerala, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Goa, Telangana and Nagaland.
