Coronavirus India: Total cases count exceeds 60 lakh, More than 50 lakh patients recover

New Delhi: The speed at which new corona cases are coming everyday is worrying, although the number of people recovering has increased compared to the new cases. But there is still not much reduction in the number of deaths due to corona, which is a cause of much concern. After 6 days of constant decrease, there is a sudden hike in active corona cases.

According to the Union Health Ministry data, in the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am Sunday to 8 am Monday, 82,170 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country and the total coronavirus cases increased to 60,74,703.

Amid new corona cases being reported everyday, more people are now recovering daily. During the last 24 hours, 74893 people across the country have been cured of coronavirus. So far, a total of 5,01,6521 people in the country have been cured of corona.

The total active cases of Corona are now 9,62,640 in the country.

The most worrying thing is that the number of people who lost their lives due to coronavirus is also increasing. According to data from the Union Health Ministry, 1,039 people lost their lives due to corona across the country in 24 hours. Coronavirus has so far caused 95,542 deaths in the country.
