Researchers in China have feared that there may be a risk of infection with the Coronavirus by having sex with a corona-infected male. Because Coronavirus infection has been found in the semen of some men. This study is published in the Jama Network Open.

Chinese scientists said that we have found such patients in a very small number. More people will have to be examined to collect more information. Because it may happen that in future, coronavirus will fall under the category of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD).

Alain Passy, professor of andrology at Sheffield University, UK, said that the study is not giving any strong results so far. We have to see whether the coronavirus is active inside the sperm. How long does it remain active inside the semen, is it really at risk of infection?
