Corona Test Reports of 8 People Done by Noida’s Private Labs Found False, All Discharged From Hospitals

Noida : The government has also recognized some private labs for investigating the coronavirus, but a panicking news has emerged from Noida. According to the information given by the authorities on Friday, the report was found positive when a sample of 8 people was examined in a private lab in Gautam Budh Nagar in Uttar Pradesh, but the report turned negative when they were re-examined in government laboratories. According to reports, now all these five private labs where the tests were conducted have been served notices.

Eight People were Discharged From Hospitals

Giving information about this, Noida District Monitoring Officer Sunil Dohra said that these 8 people have been discharged from hospitals and notices are being given to private labs regarding these fake reports. He said that the locations of such labs could not be immediately ascertained. A senior government doctor said, ‘Suspicious reports being received from private labs are being verified at the National Institute of Biology (NIB) or the highly specialized Pediatric Hospital and Postgraduate Institute of Education (SSPHPGTI) or the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) is.’

From now on, all suspected Covid-19 cases based on private lab results will be verified by one of three government labs — GIMS, NIB or Child PGI, a district official said. The chief medical officer has issued directives to private labs about collection of samples — both in regular and mobile centres — asking them to strictly follow norms and that they will be verified by the sampling in charge of the health department.
