Corona Positive Cases Exceeds 3000 in India, 1023 of Them Reported Only from Jamaatis

New Delhi: 21-day lockdown continues in the country. The government is constantly taking steps to prevent the spread of corona epidemic but the number of corona infected patients in India has crossed 2900. On Friday, the most corona positive patients have appeared in a day. Continuation of the arrival of new corona infected patients from different states continues. Meanwhile, in many areas, people are not even seen following the lockdown.

Thousands of Jamaatis, extracted from the Tablighi Jamaat Markaz in Nizamuddin area of Delhi, are spreading Corona infection across the country. So far, infections have been confirmed in over 300 Jamaatis. Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Luv Agarwal said that till now infection has spread due to Jamaatis in 17 states and so far a total of 1023 cases have been reported. 30% of these cases are related to Markaz.
