Mumbai : Former MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa has filed a complaint requesting NCB to investigate the party which took place at Karan Johar’s house from a drug angle. A video of Bollywood actors went viral last year. Former Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa has lodged a complaint with the Narcotics Control Bureau about Bollywood’s alleged drug parties, asking the agency to investigate whether a ‘drug party’ took place at Karan Johar’s home last year.

Sharing his letter to NCB chief Rakesh Asthana on social media, Sirsa said that he met him and asked him to start investigating the video. Sirsa said, ‘I met Sh. Rakesh Asthana, Chief of @narcoticsbureau at BSF head quarter, Delhi regarding submission of complaint for investigation & action against film producer @karanjohar & others for organizing drug party at his residence in Mumbai
That party video must be investigated into! ‘

The letter screenshot shows that he wants actors Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal, Malaika Arora, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Shahid Kapoor to be questioned. Sirsa also said in his letter that the actors were seen ‘consuming drugs’ at the party. However, no one is seen consuming drugs in the video.

Karan had earlier clarified that no one at his house was taking drugs at this party. He had said, ‘It was nice to see these members of the industry having a good time after a hard week and I made this video with all sincerity… If I was doing anything wrong, I would have deleted that video, I’m not stupid.’
