CBI probe begins in the mysterious death case of Yes Bank Vice President

Mumbai : The CBI has started the investigation into the mysterious death of Yes Bank Vice President Dheeraj Ahlawat. Dheeraj was a resident of Gurugram in Haryana and his body was found in Rohini, Delhi last year. Dheeraj had gone for a walk with a friend from Sector-46, Gurugram on August 5, 2020, and was last seen by the servant.

Officials said on Friday, the agency took over the case after the Central Government’s January 6 notification. On 17 October 2020, the Haryana government recommended the Central Government for a CBI inquiry into the matter.

According to the information, on August 6, Dheeraj’s body was found from the Haiderpur water treatment plant in Sector 16, Rohini. The corpse was identified by Dheeraj’s sister due to the Rakhi tied on his arm. Dheeraj’s father alleged that his son was kidnapped and murdered by some unknown people.
