BUDGET 2019: Buying e-vehicle, here it is good news

NPnews24 Online New Delhi: In order to bring down environment pollution in the coming years, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the government has approved a budget of Rs 10,000 crore to promote electric vehicles. Along with pollution-free transport, the government is also looking at promoting clean cooking and green houses.

Also in the budget speech, Finance Minister announced income tax relief of Rs 1.5 lakh on loans taken to buy e-vehicles. This will reduce pollution level and people will invest more buying e-vehicle in coming years.

Also this leads to the benefit of Rs 2.5 lakh crore over the tax period of loan for the loan payers, Sitharaman thanked taxpayers for their valuable contribution through taxes for all-round development of the country
