‘Brilliant’ School going Khushi become a monk

Khushi parents back her decision and the she took Diksha to lead a monkhood. In Jain faith, Diksha is a ritual renunciation of worldly pleasure, including emotional attachments to other people, places or things.

Khushi adds that she is four year late in becoming a monk. “According to Simandhar Swamiji (a living Tirthankara), one should renounce worldly pleasure at the age of 8. And she is already 12.
