BREAKING NEWS : 24 Migrant Workers Returning Home Died in a Horrific Road Accident in UP, Death Toll May Increase

Auraiya : In Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh, a DCM full of migrant laborers returning their home was hit by a truck, which killed 23 workers. More than 20 people are injured in this incident. The injured have been sent to the District Hospital and Saifai PGI. District administration is present on the spot. The accident took place on the Mihauli National Highway in the Kotwali area. It is being told that the workers riding in the trucks were going from Delhi to Gorakhpur.

According to the initial report, a truck hit the DCM carrying workers, killing 23 people and injuring more than 20 people. All the injured have been referred to the district hospital. DCM was parked on road-side when the truck hit it. SP of Auraiya, Suniti Singh and police of several police stations are present on the spot. Police is engaged in relief and rescue work. Those who are seriously injured have been referred to Hailat Hospital in Kanpur. In view of the incident, the death toll is expected to increase.

The incident occurred at 3 in the Saturday morning. 23 laborers died on the spot while many were injured. It was dark at the time of the incident, so there was a lot of difficulty in running the rescue operation. The administration took the help of people around and the injured were rushed to the hospital.
