Breaking : First Death in Kerala due to Corona, Dubai Return Woman Succumbed

Ernakulam : The first death from Coronavirus occurred in Kerala. The woman recently returned from Dubai traveling. The 69-year-old woman was admitted to Ernakulam Medical College. She was admitted after being diagnosed with pneumonia. According to the information received, she also had complaints of high BP and acute heart disease. The body was handed over to the family after her death at 8 am on Saturday.

Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday said that 39 people have been confirmed to be infected with the Coronavirus in the state. With this, a total of 164 cases of virus infection have been reported in the state so far. He said that out of 39 new cases, 34 of the most affected by virus infection in the state came from Kasaragod district. He said that two new cases have come from Kannur district and one each from Thrissur, Kollam and Kozhikode districts.

The Chief Minister said that a total of 1,10,299 people have been kept under observation while 616 people are admitted in isolation wards of various hospitals.
