Bounty On Vikas Dubey Increased to Rs 5 Lakh From Rs 2.5 Lakh By UP Police

Kanpur : The person who will give the news of Vikas Dubey, the killer of 8 policemen of Uttar Pradesh police, will now be given a reward of Rs 5 lakh from the UP police. Uttar Pradesh Police on Wednesday announced an increase in the amount of the reward.

As the police chase intensified with teams inspecting several areas around Delhi, including Gurugram, Faridabad, the police have now raised the reward on his head to Rs 5 lakh.

Both Vikas Dubey and Amar Dubey were involved in the killing of 8 police personnel during an encounter in Kanpur last week. The gangster and his accomplices ambushed the police team and killed 8 cops, including a DSP.

Initially a reward of 50 thousand rupees was announced to the person giving news of Vikas Dubey, then it was increased to 1 lakh rupees. On Monday, this amount of reward was increased to 2.5 lakh rupees. This prize money has now been doubled to Rs 5 lakh on Wednesday. This is the biggest reward declared on any criminal in Uttar Pradesh.
