Booster Dose Package of Govt. Amidst Lockdown, Special Attention to Women, Employees and Needy

New Delhi : Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the package of Rs 1 Lakh 70 Thousand Crore under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojna. She said “It’s been only 36 hours since lockdown and government is constantly on this.”

Finance Minister further said that government wishes that not even a single poor remain hungry, for that till next 3 months under Pradhan Mantri Anna Kalyan Yojna, they will get 5 kg of wheat / rice per person and also 1 kg pulses of their choice per person will be given.”

Government announced economic package of 1.70 lakh crores and insurance of 50 lakhs for Corona Warriors.

Talking about farmers, she said, “Under PM Kisan samman Nidhi, 8.69 crore farmers will now get immediate benefits. Rs 2000 will be deposited in their account in the first week of April and will get till the next 3 months.”

She added, ‘Senior citizens, widows, specially-abled will get Rs. 1000 per month for the next 3 months.” Women who has Jandhan Account will recieve Rs. 500 directly in their account till the next 3 months.” Under Ujjawala Scheme, 8 crore of BPL families will get free cylinders till next 3 months, it will help 8.3 crore BPL families.” “Daily wages amounted to Rs. 202 per day. Wages will increase under MNREGA, 5 crore families benefit”

‘Under Din Dayal Yojna, 63 lakh Self Help Group will get 20 lakh of loan, earlier they were receiving 10 lakh’s loan.’ Under PM Garib Kalyan Yojna, Govt. of India will pay the EPF contribution 12% to employee – 12% to employer by government till next 3 months. Government will contribute 24% in EPF to them who earn less then 15,000 per month which means, till next 3 months, government will completely contribute for EPF.”

Under the District Mineral Fund, attention should be paid to health testing, health kits. The task force had recommended today to implement all those welfare schemes in view of the poor government, which has been announced today. The government is clear that they will move forward in a positive way.
