Bombay HC praises Sushant Singh Rajput, Says his face revealed he was good person

Mumbai : The late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s performance in ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ has been highly praised by the High Court. He was a good man, anyone can tell from his face, the High Court said.

On September 7, Rhea filed a petition in the High Court seeking quashing of the case filed by Sushant’s sisters Priyanka and Meetu. S. S. Shinde and Justice M. S. Karnik’s bench reserved its order on Thursday.

Senior counsel Vikas Singh, appearing for Priyanka and Meetu, told the court that according to telemedicine practice guidelines, doctors can dispense medicine by discussing it with patients online. Sushant himself could not see the doctor because of Corona. Also, there is no evidence that he took the drug.

Senior advocate Devdutt Kamat argued in court on behalf of Mumbai Police. A WhatsApp chat between Rajput and his sister Priyanka has revealed that she gave the prescription without consulting Rajput and the doctor. On June 8, 2020, a stranger went to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. After taking the token, the accused took a prescription from Dr. Tarun Kumar. Police have evidence, Kamat said.

Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde sought dismissal of the petition. Sushant’s death is likely due to a cocktail of drugs and medicine. Rajput was under Rhea’s care for 14 months before June 8. Rhea took care that Rajput would not take his medicines with drugs. On June 8, 2020, Rajput’s cook and a housemaid had seen him keeping drugs in a box. When Rajput died on June 14, 2020, it was found that all four drugs were not in the box. Maneshinde argued that the housemaid had himself told the police.
