Today morning, actor Ajay Devgn announced that his latest film Total Dhamaal will not release in Pakistan. “In light of the current situation, the team of ‘Total Dhamaal’ has decided to not release the film in Pakistan,” Devgn tweeted. The cast and crew of upcoming Bollywood film ‘Total Dhamaal’ donated Rs. 50 lakh to the families of the soldiers.

Previously, just a day before the Pulwama terrorist attack, T-series unveiled famed Pakistani singer Atif Aslam’s new single ‘Baarishein’ on YouTube. Produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and composed/written by Arko, the song features ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ actor Nushrat Bharucha alongside Atif. ‘Baarishein’ crossed over a million views on YouTube in just about 5 hours of its release.

However, T-Series unlisted the video on Friday, a day after the terrorist suicide attack took place in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Although the music channel hasn’t yet released an official statement on the same, Bhushan Kumar’s tweet summed up the company’s sentiment.

“The attack on CRPF soldiers in Kashmir is extremely disturbing to say the least. There is no glory in this. Right now, one can only think of the families of the martyred and pray for those injured soldiers who are fighting for their lives,” Bhushan Kumar, T-Series Managing Director wrote.
