Black Magic… Bengali Women Being Trolled Because Of Rhea Chakraborty

Mumbai : These days girls and women of West Bengal are facing a strange problem on social media. For the last one week,  they have been trolled on various platforms of social media and even abused. In fact, they have been targeted since the case filed against Rhea Chakraborty in the Sushant Singh Rajput case.

Most of the victims are from Kolkata. Apart from this, women from other parts of the state have also complained to the police. The Cyber Cell Department of Kolkata Police has started investigation in this matter. At least four women have complained to the West Bengal Women’s Commission over the mail, after which the police have started an investigation.

Lina Gangopadhyay, chairperson of the Women’s Commission, said, “For the last one week we have been receiving such complaints from women in the city. We have received at least four complaints on the mail. We have sent them to the Kolkata Police for necessary action.

The police officer said, “A young woman said in a complaint to the police that some unknown people were abusing her on the social media platform because she was a Bengali. We have started an investigation by registering a case.” The women have said in the complaint that they have found posts containing abuses, in which they have also been accused of black magic.

Cyber cell officials have created a nodal office and sought details from social networking sites. Significantly, Sushant’s father has made many serious allegations against Rhea Chakraborty. Bihar police has registered an FIR against Rhea.
