BIG NEWS : School-Colleges, Malls Religious Places Will Also be Closed Till May 15?

New Delhi : Many important steps are being taken by the central and state governments to get rid of the coronavirus. At present, Corona cases have been continuously increasing in India. It needs to stop immediately. The death toll has risen to 160. While Corona positive cases so far have crossed 5300. Meanwhile, a meeting of the Group of Ministers (GoM) was held at the house of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh regarding the corona. This meeting took place yesterday. Many big decisions were taken in this meeting.

According to the source, the group of ministers said that whether the government extend the 21-day lockdown or not, educational and religious activities should be stopped by May 15. The GoM headed by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh decided that religious places, shopping malls and educational institutions may not be allowed to start for at least four weeks after April 14. April 14 is the current lockdown deadline. Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also attended this meeting.

Sources said that the government thinks that schools and colleges will be closed till the end of June, including summer holidays. The GoM recommended that not all religious organizations be allowed to begin activities until May 15 as a precautionary step to prevent the coronavirus. The GoM has been formed to review the situation arising due to Coronavirus in the country and to make suggestions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
