Baramulla Encounter Update : 5 Soldiers Martyred, 3 Terrorists Killed In Last 2 Days

Srinagar : Security forces conducted a search operation in the early hours of Tuesday in Kreeri of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, after which the encounter was started. Three militants have been killed in this encounter so far, while five security personnel have died. Search operation is still going on. According to the information, 2 of the three terrorists killed are Lashkar-e-Taiba top commanders Sajjad alias Hyder and Usman.

Hyder is the main conspirator of the recent killings in Bandipora.  He was involved in attacks on police, common people and political activists.  Apart from this, youth were also recruited in terrorist organizations.  A large quantity of arms and ammunition has been recovered from the spot.  According to the information, the help of search dogs and drones are being taken to locate the terrorists.

In the early hours of Monday in the Baramulla district, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the police station were attacked by terrorists.
