Bank will be closed for 12 days, know why ‘here’

New Delhi- In India, however, banks are closed every Sunday and other Saturdays. Apart from this, banks are also closed on some national and regional holidays. Banks will be having additional holidays in September and also few regional festivals holidays  other than Sundays and Saturdays stated RBI guidelines.In such a situation, if any of bank related work is pending complete it. Bank Holiday will be closed for 12 days in September.

 

RBI has issued the list of holidays for the September month.

 

01 September – Banks will remain closed due to Onam in Sikkim.

02 September – Sri Narayana Guru Jayanti will be celebrated. Banks will have a holiday in Gangtok, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram on this day.

06 September -Sunday, banks will be closed in all states.

12 September  – The second Saturday of the month, banks will have a holiday in all states on this day.

13- September  – Sunday will be a holiday for banks in all states.

17 September – Banks will leave for Agartala, Kolkata and Bengaluru due to Mahalaya Amavasya.

20 September  – Sunday, banks will have a holiday throughout the country.

21 September – Sri Narayana Guru Samadhi Day. Banks will have a holiday on this day in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.

23 September – Haryana Heroes will have a holiday in banks on the occasion of Martyrdom Day.

26 September – The fourth Saturday of the month, there will be a holiday in the country’s banks.

27 September – Sunday will be a holiday for banks in all states.

28 September- Sardar Bhagat Singh Jayanti, there will be a holiday in many banks in Punjab.
