Ban on Loudspeakers in Temple & Mosque, This will be Applicable for Religious Festivals too

Ahmedabad : The police-administration’s strictness is increasing these days to control the corona epidemic. There is a ban on all religions places, and Temples. However, loudspeakers are being played at some places. These have now been banned in the state. The Gujarat Ministry of Home Affairs issued an order and made it clear. It was said that aarti in the temple, azaan in the mosque and during any kind of other social religious festivals, loudspeakers will not be allowed to be used.

Apart from this, any kind of religious, social and cultural programs in villages and cities are also prohibited till the situation becomes normal. A police officer said that under a guideline issued by the central government in the wake of the Corona epidemic, the state government has issued a circular prohibiting any social event, religious event or festival in the state. Along with this, the use of loudspeakers is also banned.

At the same time, Mujahid Nafees of the Minority Committee has expressed displeasure over this order of not using loudspeakers. Mujahid Nafis said that, the holy month of Ramadan is going on. The people of the Muslim community listen to the azaan and pray. The government and the Ministry of Home Affairs should decide the decibel of the loudspeaker and give approval to the loudspeaker in a low voice.
