Ayushmann hikes his fee post National Award

NPnews24 online,  Mumbai: Ayushmann Khurrana recently was awarded the National Film Award for his critically-acclaimed performance in ‘Andhadhun’.  As the actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming comedy movie’ Dream Girl’, some reports have suggested that he has hiked his price recently.

Climbing on the popularity ladder, Ayushmann Khurrana recently shot for a television advertisement for a security brand and reportedly he has charged tripped his normal fees for brand promotions.

While the Dream Girl actor usually charges Rs 90 lakh to 1 crore for brand endorsements, he charges a whopping Rs 3.5 crore for association with the brand.

While he was not ready to settle for less, the brand gave in and signed him for the quoted price for the commercial shot in Malabar Hills. While he has hiked his price for commercials, one can expect a hike in his price for movies as well post the success of his previous projects.

The ‘Vicky Dinor’ actor will soon be seen sharing screen space with Nusrat Barucha in the comedy-drama Dream Girl.  Helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the movie is slated to a release date of  September 13.
