Ayodhya Ram Mandir : Shailesh Gandhi of Bhavnagar to lay foundation of temple

Bhavnagar: Shailesh Gandhi, originally from Bhavnagar and currently working as a director at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Surat, has been appointed to a committee of eight members for the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya.

S R Gandhi used to live at Swastik Society, Ambawadi in Bhavnagar and his father was running a business called Gandhi Tiles. He has completed his schooling at the city’s prestigious B M Commerce School. B M Commerce School Principal Paresh Trivedi said that his appointment is a source of pride for the entire Gohilwad and Gujarat state.

The eight-member foundation design committee will provide guidance on the geographical condition. Experts from all over the country are being recruited and involved in the construction of the magnificent temple at Ram Janmabhoomi, which has become a center of faith for the entire country. Professor Gandhi is accompanied by former Director of IIT Delhi VS Raju, Director of Roorkee, Director of Guwahati IIT, Professor of IIT Delhi.
