Army Movement on LAC Intensified, India Moves Air Defense Missile Systems into Eastern Ladakh Sector

New Delhi: In view of the ever-increasing tension between India and China over LAC at present in Ladakh, the Indian Army has deployed Akash Air Defense System on LAC. It is being said that since the rise of China’s PLA army in East Ladakh, the Indian Army has started preparing to give answer to China.

Significantly, the Chinese Air Force has intensified the movement in areas near the border in the last few days. In recent times, China’s surveillance aircraft have been seen flying very close to the LAC.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has deployed a missile defence system to monitor the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) air force and respond quickly to any action. Now the entire sector has an advanced quick reaction surface-to-air missile defence system that can destroy any fighter jet of the PLAAF in a few seconds.

Government sources told news agency ANI, “Amid the growing build-up in the sector, air defence systems of both the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force have been deployed so that any misconduct by Chinese Airforce or PLA Choppers can be dealt with.’ The Army has also sent an ‘Akash’ missile in eastern Ladakh which can fire any high-speed aircraft or drone in seconds. It has undergone many modifications and upgrades so that it can be used with the same accuracy even in hilly areas.
