Amazing ! Govt GST Lottery Scheme – Collect Shopping Bills from Shopkeeper, Win Millions !

New Delhi: Customers should demand a bill from the shopkeeper, for this the government is going to bring a GST lottery scheme. A reward ranging from Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 1 crore will be given under this scheme. There will be a lottery option in the bill that customers will take after purchase.

Under GST system, four tax slabs are set i.e. 5, 12, 18 and 28 percent. In addition to the highest rate of tax on luxury and perishable products, cess is also levied. John Joseph, a member of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) said, “Customers can win the lottery on every GST bill so that customers will come forward to pay taxes.”

Addressing a program of industry body Assocham, Joseph said that “we have come up with a new lottery system. Under GST, you will be able to win lottery on every bill. The shopping bills will be uploaded on the portal and lottery draw will happen automatically through computer system. The winners will be informed about this.”
