Akshay to star in remake of Tamil blockbuster Kaththi

The director of his upcoming movie Mission Mangal has announced another project with him.
Director Jagan Shakti revealed the project titled ‘Ikka’ starring Akshay Kumar in dual characters.
The movie is said to be an official remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kaththi which starred Vijay and Samantha Akkineni.
Ikka will focus on the social issue involving suicides of farmers driven by corporate encroachment.
Talking about Ikka, Jagan Shakti said, “It will resonate with the underprivileged section of the society. With my second directorial, I want to explore action which is presented in a sleek way.”
While Akshay is currently busy with his ongoing commitments, Ikka is expected to go on floors soon.
