After being scolded by teacher, class 7 student hangs herself

NP NEWS 24ONLINE- In a bizarre incident, a class 7 student allegedly committed suicide after she was scolded by her school teacher.

The incident took place in Delhi’s Inderpuri area which came into light on Thursday after police gave this information.

According to police, a suicide note was found written on the deceased’s hand and her dead body was found hanging inside the deceased’s house.

Further adding to it, the police informed that finding the house empty as her mother who is an advocate had gone to court she committed suicide taking advantage of the situation.

The minor girl’s mother is suspecting that she must have taken this extreme step only after her school teacher scolded her. But, the police is yet to ascertain the truth behind it. Her parents had informed that it was not the first time that the teacher scolded the deceased.

Although, the school management has shown their full support with the investigation team of police. The authority has said that they will cooperate with the police in their probe to their best possible way.

The statement of the police said, “As of now we are not at liberty to disclose any details which may jeopardise the police investigation of the case”.

Another incident from Jaipur:

Earlier, a similar incident took place in a Jaipur based school in which a class 8th standard student jumped off the water tank on the terrace situated at 4th floor of a building. He too had written a suicide note on his hand.

After probing, the police came to know that due to the distressful condition of the deceased in his academics and an improper rapport between him and his Maths teacher at school who gave him less marks in his exam, he committed suicide. When police enquired with school authority and friends, nothing came into light as every other student in school denied to speak anything on this matter.

Now-a-days students have become so sentimental and emotional, that such small things make them upset and end their lives. They need to understand that losing hope in life is a not a solution to any problem but discussing it with parents is!
