After Amphan & Nisarg, Now Another Storm is Near to Threaten India, IMD Predicts Heavy Rain on June 10

New Delhi : In the midst of the Corona crisis, natural disasters continue in the country. In the last one month, another cyclonic storm is moving towards India after the storm in the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. According to the Meteorological Department, conditions of cyclonic storms are occurring in the Bay of Bengal. Next week the storm will move towards the east coast of India.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, conditions of low pressure area are arising in the Bay of Bengal. A low pressure area is likely to form over the eastern parts of the Gulf of West Central Bengal around 8 June. Due to the low pressure area, heavy rainfall is expected in Odisha from June 10.Cyclonic storm Amphan which occurred in the Bay of Bengal last month, had brought devastation in Odisha and West Bengal. The Meteorological Department considered it the worst cyclone in 21 years. It was the first super cyclone after the storm in 1999.

After this, Cyclone Nisarg, which rose in the Arabian Sea in the first week of June, caused a lot of destruction. On June 2, due to this storm, the coastal areas of Maharashtra and Gujarat received heavy rains with strong winds. The storm also reached Mumbai and damaged many houses. This was the most severe storm in Mumbai in the last 125 years.
