Actress Divya Dutta Gets Electricity Bill of Rs 51000, Tweeted & Said – ‘Lockdown Ka Shagun Dena Hai Kya?”

Mumbai : During the lockdown, several other Bollywood celebrities raised the issue of electricity bill in Mumbai last month. Meanwhile, this month’s electricity bill of actress Divya Dutta has come to Rs 51,000, due to which she is quite surprised. Divya wrote a post on Twitter, in which she complained to Tata Power about overcharging the bill. She wrote in the tweet, “Dear @TataPower incidental .. a monthly bill of 51000 ?? Shagun dena hai lockdown ka? Pls sort this asap.”

Earlier actress Taapsee Pannu complained about the increase in her electricity bill in the month of June 2020. She had tweeted, “3 months of lockdown and I wonder what appliance (s) I have newly used or bought in the apartment only last month to have such an insane rise in my electricity bill. @Adani_Elec_Mum what kind of power are you charging us for ?”

With this, Taapsee tagged Adani Electricity Mumbai and asked how much do you charge. And at the same time she had attached pictures of electricity bills, which showed that in June 2020 he was charged Rs 36,000. April’s bill was Rs 4,390, while in May, her bill was Rs 3,850. Later, the power company clarified the issue and explained why the bills had increased.
