A test of MSEDCL’s Solar Power Projects succeed at Butibori

The Maharashtra chief minister’s Solar power project’s test completed successfully on September 21, Friday at Butibori, Nagpur district. This ambitious projects runs under the Mukhyamantri Saur Urja Krishi Vahini Yojna and which will be benefited to farmers.

The capacity of this Butibori solar power project is 665 KW. This project will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule and this projects will provides the electricity to the farmers in the region.

After the successful test of solar power project at Khapa in Nagpur district, which has a potential of producing 900 KW energy, Now the MSEDCL did the test of Butibori project.

The Solar Power Project has been set up in a free space of 2.5 acres of  33 KV sub-centre of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) at Butibori, while testing of this project 301 KW energy was produced.

In the sub-centre of Savner in Nagpur district, 900 KW capacity and  in sub-center of Butibori 665 KW capacity solar power projects have been started successfully. While testing of Khapa’s solar project 500 KW energy was produced.

MSEDCL make some agreements regarding installation of projects and purchasing the energy. The place for installing the projects will be provided by the MSEDCL and projects will be installed by EESL company. 300 farmers will get energy from Butibori project. State government implementing this scheme, so that the farmers should get cost effective and clean energy for 10 to 12 hours a day.

Under the guidance of energy minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule and discussion with CM of Maharashtra, the head of the MSEDCL Sanjiv Kumar made a scheme of installing the solar power project under the Mukhyamantri Saur Urja Krishi Vahini Yojna at free space of sub-centres of MSEDCL at various places in state.

200 Megawatt energy will be produced by installing the projects with various capacity at 150 various places in state, under this scheme.

Due to the participation of MSEDCL participation, it will help to PM Narendra Modi’s mission of producing solar power.
