57 Minor Girls Corona Positive, 7 Of Them Pregnant, 1 HIV+ at Kanpur Shelter Home
New Delhi : 57 girls have been found Corona positive at the Women’s Shelter Home in Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. When the girls were sent to Rama Medical College Hospital for treatment, it was found out that 7 girls were pregnant and one HIV positive. Kanpur DM Dr Brahma Dev Ram Tiwari told that these girls were pregnant before they were brought to the shelter home. Five positive girls came from the Child Welfare Committee of Agra, Etah, Kannauj, Firozabad and Kanpur, while 2 were staying here. At present, the administration has sealed this shelter home.

The situation has been tensed after 57 cases of corona infection were reported. A week ago, a girl from Shelter Home was found to be Corona positive. Then on June 18, the corona report of 33 girls together came positive.
On 19 June, 16 more girls were confirmed to have corona infection. The investigation report on the night of June 20 revealed 8 more Corona positive cases. Women from 12 years to 34 years live in this shelter home.
Corona-infected pregnant girls have also been admitted to Dufferin Hospital after being corona infected. The girls are just 17 years of age. At the same time there has been a stir after the news of 7 girls getting pregnant.
