35,043 Coronavirus Cases in India, 1147 People Died, 8,888 Recovered : Ministry of Health
New Delhi : With 1993 positive cases reported in the last 24 hours, the number of coronavirus infections in the country has increased to 35,043 while the death toll has risen to 1147. At the same time 8,888 people have been cured of this infection. This information was given at a press conference organized by the Ministry of Health. Union Health Ministry Secretary Luv Aggarwal said that there are 25,007 active cases of corona in the country.

At the same time, Chairman of Empowered Group-3, PD Vaghela said that currently there is a demand for 75 thousand ventilators, while the availability is only of 19,398 ventilators. He said that 60,884 ventilators have been ordered.
Vaghela stated that 2.01 crore PPE kits are needed in India whereas we have ordered 2.22 crore kits. Out of this order, 1.42 crore kits are being purchased from the domestic market. He informed that 1.87 lakh kits are being produced daily in the country.
