35 arrested in ‘Sex-Trade’ at Spa Center

NPnew24 Online, Noida: In Uttar Pradesh, Noida on Sunday 35 people were arrested, among 25 were women.

On Sunday night police raided over dozen of spa centers, allegedly running sex rackets, said officials.

There were also foreign nationals among those arrested, police informed, not giving the exact count.

Gautam Buddh Nagar, Superintendent of police (SP) Vineet Jaiswal said, “ on the directions of senior (SP) Vaibhav Krishna, the raid were conducted late in the evening at 14 spa center in the commercial hub of sector 18.the raids continued till almost midnight.”

All of the 14 spa centers were sealed. Three of those were involved in sex racket, and remaining showed irregularities, informed the SP.

He also added that, a case is registered against the owners and spa centers and is charged under the stringent Uttar Pradesh Gangsters Act.

Ten men (10) and twenty-five women (25) are arrested including multiple foreign nationals. Nearly ₹ 1 lakhs cash, beer, condoms and other objectionable articles are also seized from these spa centers, said the officials.
