3 years of imprisonment to man who showed porn to a woman

Pune Court has given order in case where a woman from Pune’s Sadashiv Peth area was sexually assaulted by showing her a porn film which had her look alike. The case was registered against the culprit in Vishrambhag police station in 2013.
The culprit was sentence to 3 years of rigorous imprisonment under section 354D for sexual harassment and a penalty of 20,000 rupees.
48-year-old Vaijnath Shivmurti Todkar,who age and own a Printing Press and lives at Sinhagad Road, Pune.
Vaijnath was familiar to the victim and her family. Prior to 45 days of the incident the Vaijnath called the victim and told her that he wants to show her something and after watching it she will be ready to do anything as per he says.
Out of curiosity to know what exactly he has, the victim called Vaijnath home after her father-in-law went out of the house.
Accordingly, the Vaijnath came to her place and then showed her a porn video on his mobile. Later he claimed that the woman looks exactly like her and therefore he claimed that it’s the same woman and asked her to have physical relations with him as she has with other men.
Listening to that, the victim told him that she does not have any relations with men and the woman in the video is different. However, Vaijnath told her that he will buy a separate flat for her and will give Rs. 15,000/per month for expenses if she agrees while he threatened her to show the porn video to her family members if she denied to have physical relations with him. He also threatened that he has contacts with Goons and they have revolver and asked her to think over on it.
Thereafter, Vaijnath again called the victim asking whether she is ready otherwise she will have to face consequences. After which, the victim lodged the report at Vishrambaug Police station. Later the case was taken to the court and 4 years imprisonment was declared.
