3 Days Before the Delhi Elections, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Announced by PM Modi

New Delhi: 88 days after the Supreme Court’s November 9 verdict on Ayodhya, the government announced a trust to build the Ram temple. Ram temple trust has got approval from Modi cabinet today. PM Narendra Modi told in the Parliament about proposal to set up ‘Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra’. He told that in the cabinet meeting, the government has decided to set up the trust.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in Parliament that 67.03 acres of land would be given to the Trust. PM Modi said, ‘Trust will be fully authorized for the construction of a grand Ram temple at the site of Lord Shri Ram.’ He also said, ‘UP government has been requested to give 5 acres of land to Sunni Waqf Board. They have expedited work on it.

“A trust has been formed, it is called ‘Sri Ram Janambhoomi Tirath Kshetra’,” the Prime Minister said. The Prime Minister also said that his government is moving forward with the policy of ‘sab ka saath sab ka Vishwas’. “In India, be it Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Parsi or Jain, everyone is a part of one family. Development must take place for every member of the family. Our government is moving forward with ‘sab ka sath sab ka Vikas’ policy so that everyone is happy.”

He said, ‘A resolution has been passed for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust. A grand and divine temple will be built there. 5 acres of land in Ayodhya will be given to the Sunni Waqf Board. The government has taken another decision. Nearly 67 acres of land will be given to Ram Janmabhoomi pilgrimage area.’

Its outline has been prepared 87 days after the decision of the Supreme Court. According to sources, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das can get a big responsibility in this trust. The Ram Temple Trust will include one member each from Digambara Akhara, Nirmohi Akhara and Ramlala Virajman.
