22-year-old UPSC aspirant sends ‘sorry’ to the friend on Whatsapp and hangs herself

NEW DELHI: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE– 22-year-old UPSC student ends her life on Saturday night.  The  UPSC aspirant who was preparing for her exams sent a Sorry text on WhatsApp to her friend and hanged herself.

The incident took place in Karol Bagh of Delhi which is one of the most populated and famous areas of Delhi.

The name of the deceased is identified to be Tamil Nadu based Shrimathi.

Police found a suicide note written in English from the deceased in which she has apologized to her parents and mentioned about ending her life. The student has although not held anyone responsible for her death in her suicide note.

According to information by Karolbagh, Shrimathi used to live in a rented house in Karolbagh’s Naivalan area and was preparing for UPSC from a Delhi based nearby coaching centre.  She did her graduation from Tamil Nadu.

Her father’s name is Thanga Raja. The incident came into light when she texted one of her friends. Actually, Shrimathi had planned to planned to go shopping with one of her friends to Sarojini Nagar market in Tamil Nadu. But at the eleventh hour, she decided not to go and told her friend the same. Her friend went shopping alone by herself.

In the meanwhile, Shrimathi sent a message filled with disappointment telling her sorry. After reading the message, her friend felt that Shrimathi was depressed. Her friend tried to call but was unresponded.

Around 6:30 pm when she reached Shrimathi’s room, she was found her hanging from the grill of the ventilator. Soon later which she informed the police.

Shrimathi’s relatives and friends informed that around six months ago she went to Delhi for UPSC preparations. Reportedly, she was in stress due to that as she considered the exam to extremely hard.

The financial condition of the deceased was also not that prosperous due to which she used to remain in tension.

Police is probing further into the case and is questioning the deceased’s relatives and friends for more information on this case.
