2 Crore Rupees’ Gold Was Being Smuggled Hiding in Underwear Seized in Bihar

Muzaffarpur : The DRI or the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence of Muzaffarpur in Bihar has achieved great success. The team has arrested two smugglers along with gold worth nearly two crore rupees. Actually, the DRI had received secret information that the consignment of gold was being sent from Siliguri to Delhi. Based on this, the DRI formed a team and laid a trap.

Both smugglers are residents of Guwahati
While searching for two smugglers who came out of Guwahati with gold, the DRI reached Patna and caught them both at Mithapur bus stand. Both the smugglers are residents of Guwahati, whose name has not yet been disclosed by the DRI for security. When both of them were thoroughly searched, it was found that the smugglers had hidden gold biscuits inside their under-garment. Apart from this, he had a bike and gold biscuits were hidden in the handle of that bike. DRI officials have said that the value of the recovered gold is around two crore rupees.
