14 year old girl found hanging, family allege rape and murder

Delhi: A 14-year-old girl was found hanging from a fan in Arsh Kanya Gurukul School located in Sector 115, Noida on the early morning of July 3. The girl’s parents stay in Haryana and her 13-year-old sister also studies in the same boarding school for girls.

According to reports, around 45 students, including the victim’s younger sister, were present in the school at the time, along with teachers and staff members.

The school staff informed the Principal and the girl’s parents about the incident over the phone. The victim’s parents reached the school at 10.30 am on the same day. The mother has alleged that their phone was taken from them when they reached the school.

They were taken to a room where the girl was hanging from a fan. The family members were shown an alleged suicide note of the girl as well.

The victim’s mother has alleged that the school misled them since 3 am on the day of the incident. The mother’s video asking for justice has gone viral on social media. The family members have alleged that their daughter was killed after being raped inside the school.

In a page titled, she wrote of trauma because of “wrong treatment by everyone”. One of the pages, titled “bad day of my life”, had a few heart-shaped figures drawn on it along with tears dropping from an eye. She also wrote “I want to meet someone”.

Noida Police took note of the incident and are now investigating the case.
