14 Indian educational institutions ranked among the world’s top 100

New Delhi : A total of 14 educational institutions in India have been added in the list of best 100 institutes in the world. QS World University released the 2021 Subject Ranking in London on Thursday. Among Indian institutions, IIT Madras is ranked first, IIT Bombay second, IIT Kharagpur third and Delhi University fourth. IIT Delhi is ranked 10th.

According to Ben Swauter, Senior Vice President of QS, the Government of India has implemented the new Education Policy 2020. Its effect is visible in a few months. Now Indian educational institutions are not compromising on the quality of education and curriculum, that is why the number of subjects in this year’s ranking has been less than last year.

In 2020, 235 subjects were included. Whereas this year the number is 233. This shows the improvement in the Indian education system. The government’s goal of increasing the gross enrolment rate in higher education to 50 percent by 2035 will be met.
