10 Rs. coin becomes the reason of Shopkeeper’s death

NASIK: NP News24 ONLINE- A shocking incident has come up from Malegaon, Nasik in which a shopkeeper was killed in a dispute which was caused due to only 10 rupee coins.

The name of the deceased is Sayed Ahmed Abdul Hamid (53).

The deceased owned a shop at sardar chowk Malegaon since past several years. On Friday around 8’o clock the accused came to his shop & asked for a pocket of tobacco.

The accused gave Sayed 20rs, deducting 10rs. from the cost of  tobacco, Sayed then returned the remaining 10rs coin to him as a change.

The accused wanted him to be given a note of 10 Rs. in exchange for coins, but Sayed refused which led to a serious argument between the two after which, the accused attacked Sayed.

In this attack, Sayed’s body was found severely damaged. He was rushed to the hospital by the people present on the spot, but he died due to excessive bleeding.

After committing the crime, the accused fled away from the spot and is still absconding. The police is looking for the accused and is still probing into the case further.
